How to: Change the background pattern for a cell or group of cells.
Solution:
Select the cell(s) and select 'Cells...' from the 'Format' menu. Click the 'Patterns' tab and select the desired pattern.
To change the background pattern of a cell:
1) Click on the desired cell or select a group of cells.
2) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Cells...'. (The Format Cells dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Patterns' tab.
4) Select the desired background pattern from the 'Pattern' drop-down list in the 'Cell Shading' group.
5) Click 'OK'.
